I even created a new account after making the changes an= d that new Hmmm odd. Could you do me a directory listing of your surgemail/surgeweb/cus= tom directory please. There were some problems saving customisation at one s= tage when the contents of this directory were not properly updated during an= install. You could even try removing this directory altogether and running = the installer again - it should install it once ever and then not change it = - removing the custom directory will get it to reinstall it.
