This is a multi-part message in MIME format.

Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
Could you send me (offlist to surgemail-support@netwinsite.com) the raw emai=
l from disk please so I can take a look at the constructs used.
In general you will find that no mail client allows any form of javascript f=
or security reasons as already noted on the list.

Hi,
I have just received some emails with links to a web site in
the text. I get this error message when I click on the
link:
"Executable file not found _javascript:openExample??https:
No such file or directory"
The raw text of the email is:
https://www.thesite.com/c.jsp?0123456789AB<_javascript:openExample('http=3d
s://http://www.thesite.com/c.jsp?0123456789AB')>
The link in the email and can be copied and pasted into a
browser. That works fine. It also works if I copy the
email, paste it into a new message and send it.
It looks to me like the sender is using new (to me at least)
code that assumes javascript in the email server.
Is this something I can fix?
I am using Surgemail Version: Linux 3.9e-1
Thanks,
J.Pod.
