The setting you need to increase is:
	G_SEND_MAX
I suggest you don't set it higher than about 800 (and start lower than that)

If the real bottle neck is the backend server, then it's likely increasing this 
limit will have no affect other than potentially slowing down the backend server 
even more.  So observe closely the results of changes and possibly you will have 
to examine the performance limits/bottlenecks on the backend if this setting 
doesn't help.
