If the user logs into the user self management portal

    https://your.server/cgi/user.cgi

Then go to Logs/Mailbox

Then click on 'download all mail'

The server will generate a zip file (or several) of the requested folders suitable to keep locally.

This feature requires a recent version of surgemail and the modern interface enabled for the self admin interface.

I am getting to the point now that customers are wanting to keep mail over a longer period.

With mail getting larger in size, this is causing problems.

It would be great if customers could archive to their local PC.

This is doable with Outlook, BUT a lot of my users like using Surgeweb.

Is there a way to have archive folders local???

I realise these would not be available if accessing mail from another PC.

Maybe a two tier archive.

First year is on Server then rolls over to local???
