first step, but I have some more questions:
1. You describe 2 possible databases for
CardDAV, abkdb.sqlite and caldb.sqlite. Wich one will be used by SurgeWin in the
future?
2) When I use caldb.sqlite (for mirroring reasons)
do I have to change the script? What is then with the next update of SurgeMail.
Do I have to change the script again?
3) What about sharing of contacts in CardDAV. How
can I define it like in "Calendar, Config, sharing"
4) Do you have plans for a Config-Interface like
"Calendar, Config" so the user can define contacts and sharing by
himself?

You can enable carddav on latest builds without any trouble. For more

As noted in the documentation above, surgeweb will not share its contacts
with carddav at this stage but it should work fine between external devices /
carddav clients. Let us know how you go and if that satisfies the demand or
not. I do still have plans to integrate this with surgeweb's contacts but have
no timeframe on that currently.
