I installed a gateway email appliance
yesterday. Last night emails still worked but suddenly today I stopped
receiving them.
I added this configuration to my Surgemail
server yesterday:
> 1) add g_gateway
domain="grady.k12.ga.us" to="sophos.ip"
> 2) add g_gateway_ifnot "sophos.ip"
I don’t know how related it is but this morning
while looking through the gateway appliance logs I saw a lot of
deferred messages due to the following errors:
Deferred:Host 10.0.0.6[10.0.0.6] refused to
talk to me: 550 Limit exceeded max_bad_to for ip exceeded 51>50
10.0.0.10 at 2011-02-23 07:46:37
IP Address 10.0.0.6 is my mail server and
10.0.0.10 is my new gateway scanner.
More recently I started seeing messages with:
lost connection with 10.0.0.6[10.0.0.6] while
sending RCPT TO surgemail
Any ideas???
